• Facilities Use and Rental Information

    Community use of facilities in the Currituck County School System is governed by Board Policy 5030:  Community Use of Facilities.  In October of 2023, the Currituck County School System adopted a new fee schedule and is now using the following guidelines (Facility Guidelines) to govern the rental of school facilities by community and outside agencies.

    Rental Application

    The application for renting a facility can be found here: Facility Use & Rental Application. Please submit the completed form to the school principal of the site that you wish to rent.  Your request will be reviewed and sent to the office of the Superintendent for final approval.  Information regarding fees is located here: District Fee Schedule. Prior to use, all users must obtain general liability insurance, $500,000 minimum & $1,000,000 for athletic events, naming Currituck County Schools as an additional insured party.  Fees must be paid in full before the date of the event.
     
     
    Joint Use Agreement between Currituck County Schools (CCS) and the County of Currituck-  CCS shall have first priority in the use of all school facilities. Activities sponsored by the County of Currituck (Parks & Recreation) shall have second priority in the use of all indoor and outdoor facilities.

    Community Schools Partners

    If you are a community agency that is interested in becoming a Community Schools Partner, please fill out the Community Schools Partnership Application. Please submit the completed form to the Administrative Office located at 2958 Caratoke Highway, Currituck, NC 27929.   Following the approval from the Superintendent and Board of Education as a Community Schools Partner, agencies will enter into a Community Schools Partner Agreement with Currituck County Schools which will be kept on file for one year.
