    I am excited to join the MMMelissa ReynoldsS Bulldog Family this year as Principal. I have 21 years of  experience in education.  Before coming to MMS, I was the Assistant Principal at Moyock Elementary and I taught 5th grade at Shawboro Elementary. 

    I was born in Virginia Beach and attended college at Old Dominion University where I earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees in Elementary Education.  In 2008, I earned an Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Virginia.  I moved to Currituck County a few years later.  The beautiful views and community lifestyle appealed to me. 

    I enjoy volunteering and am actively involved within the community.  I serve as the Chairwoman of Currituck Kids Inc. and as a member of the Moyock Woman's Club.

     

     

    I look forward to helping Moyock Middle School students and staff reach their fullest potential, as well as fostering Bulldog Pride at MMS.
