    Hello! Welcome to Preschool!

    Hello!  My name is Miss Danna Pierro.  This is my 11th year in the preschool program for Currituck County Schools.  I have a B.S. in Child Development, a Master’s Degree in Teaching PreK-6th grade, and I am a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT).  

    Preschool is one of the greatest experiences a child will have. This is their first impression of what school and learning is all about. So, it is our job to show them how fun learning will be! We are a hands-on- play-based preschool.  We create a safe, loving, and fun environment so that the kids feel confident to explore, play and learn.  We focus on life-long skills, which include Social /Emotional Development, Physical Development, Cognitive Development, and Language Development.  We support the needs, personalities, and interests of each child to help build on their confidence in who they are. It's going to be a great year!
