North Carolina law now requires a Meningococcal vaccine booster for entry into 12th grade. Please refer to immunize.nc.gov for more information regarding the vaccine and requirements.

It is important to have your teen scheduled to receive this vaccine prior to their senior year beginning. Vaccinations can be done by your teen’s health care provider or the local health department. When getting the vaccine, please ask for a copy of the shot record to provide to the school.
