    Mission Statement

    The mission of the Currituck County High School Counseling Program, in partnership with other educators, parents/ guardians and community stakeholders, is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program that addresses the academic, personal, social, and career development of all students and ensures that they are self-directed, life-long learners with post-secondary planning. 

    Vision Statement 

    The vision of the Currituck County High School Comprehensive school counseling program is to facilitate equal access to a comprehensive school counseling program for all students, and that the program serves as an integral piece of the overall education experience.

    My name is Kelly Greenwell and I am the Career Development and Special Populations Coordinator for Currituck County High School. I have worked in education for over 20 years as a Marketing Teacher, Apprenticeship Coordinator and Special Populations Coordinator. I enjoy working with high school students and helping them achieve their academic and career goals. I am available to help with self assessments, career counseling and career pathways. In addition, I work with Military Recruiters and offer support to students in CTE classes with IEPs.     Kymberly Fehlberg, most often known as Ms. Kym has a background in business settings. She has three degrees, Bachelors and Masters, in Business Administration and a Masters in Education Administration. She also has studies in Psychology and Computer Science.

    Ms. Kym grew up on the Outer Banks, and spent the years following high school traveling the United States to explore the diverse cultures that were offered. Ms. Kym is a loving mother, pet caretaker, and spirit, and hopes everyone she meets feels comfort in her presence.
